The VIFM and Coroners Court of Victoria staff had the privilege of gaining invaluable insights into the essential work of the Yoorrook Justice Commission from its Deputy Chair and Commissioner, Travis Lovett, and Commissioner Tony North KC.
Staff heard firsthand about the critical and often painful truth-telling process, which addresses long-standing and current injustices faced by First Peoples in Victoria.
We extend our gratitude to the Commissioners for this enlightening briefing. The Yoorrook Justice Commission will deliver its final Report in 2025.
