Building on the success of our mock inquest last year, we recently participated in Law Week with a Q&A style event called Afterlife, focusing on the first 48 hours after a death. This year saw us again collaborate with CCOV and we invited Monash Law School to partner with us and held two sold out shows at the Monash Law Chambers in the city.

A highlight of the event was the debut of the first episode from our new web series also called Afterlife, as well as a teaser for the rest of the series. The episode was really well received with many commenting that they had no idea of what actually happened behind the walls of 65 Kavanagh Street. Our panel of experts from both VIFM and CCOV – Richard Bassed, Linda Iles, David Ranson, Jodie Leditschke, Ally O’Dell, Hayley Philpot and Caitlin English – all did a fabulous job answering audience questions during the Q&A session of the evening. As usual, Brian Nankervis was the ultimate MC, adding some lighter moments and humour to very serious subject matter.
