Our Director is Professor Noel Woodford, who is the academic and medical head of the Institute, and our Chief Operating Officer is Ms Mari-Ann Scott who takes the lead role in the operational management across the organisation.

Our operations are organised under two service streams: Forensic Services and Academic Programs.  Each stream is headed by a Deputy Director who reports directly to the Director of the VIFM.

The Senior Executive Group and the Executive Team

The Senior Executive Group (SEG) drives the high level strategic performance of the VIFM.  It comprises four members: the Director, Chief Operating Officer and the two Deputy-Directors.

The Senior Executive Group sits above a VIFM Executive Team which comprises the heads of departments and services.  This group plans, reports and assesses progress against our strategic and business plans.  The Executive Team promotes collaboration and collective responsibility to set Institute-wide policy and achieve VIFM’s strategic goals.
