The Corporate Services area encompasses all administrative functions of the VIFM and is responsive to the needs of all its stakeholders - Justice, staff, funding agencies, and the wider community.
It is responsible, in co-operation with other staff, for the implementation of government policy, the promotion and accreditation of the VIFM, the preparation of reports to the Council and the Victorian Government, the provision and maintenance of VIFM infrastructure to a high level of safety and efficiency, and the protection of the rights and well-being of staff.
Office of the Director
Staff within the Office of the Director provide specialist support to the Director, oversee coordination of undergraduate medical and legal training at the Institute, address medico legal issues associated with the work of the Institute as well as a number of administrative functions.
Organisational Development
Aims/Objectives - To ensure the institute maintains compliance with relevant accreditation and licencing requirements.To manage and maintain the Institute's quality and safety management systems which incorporates continuous improvement.Support, promote and implement the principles of Business Excellence across VIFM.
