VIFM Operational Plan

The Operational Plan describes how we are organised, how we function internally and how the Institute plans to continue to meet the needs of Victoria's communities and play a leading role in forensic medicine, locally, nationally and internationally. It is a dynamic document which clearly sets out the Institute's way of working.

The VIFM Operational Plan October 2006 is available as a pdf file which will open in Acrobat Reader.

The Plan should be viewed as a general blueprint which is flexible and subject to progressive modification and improvement as the Institute's thinking and operations evolve. It is also a partner to, and should be read in conjunction with the following VIFM publications:

• The Institute's rolling strategic plan
• The Institute's annual business plans for the current year; and
• The Institute's annual reports

The Institute's Services and Portfolios will continue to develop strategic and business plans, and provide regular reporting on activities and services, within the Institute-wide context, themes and priorities.
