The next VIFM Careers Day is on Friday 30th September 2011.
The VIFM Careers Day occurs twice a year and has been developed in response to the large number of enquiries from students regarding work experience. Due to the sensitive and confidential nature of the work carried out at the Institute, we are unable to offer work experience placements. However, the VIFM Careers Day offers high school students in years 10, 11 and 12 an insight into the various career options available at VIFM and an opportunity to meet some of our staff.
Speakers include a forensic pathologist, forensic toxicologist, forensic odontologist, forensic entomologist, a mortuary technician, a physician from clinical forensic medicine and representative from the Donor Tissue bank of Victoria.
Students wishing to attend MUST complete and return the registration form to VIFM by Friday 23rd September 2011. We are limited to 70 places, so priority will be given in order of forms received. Please submit only one form per person attending.

Information for Attendees:
The VIFM Career Day does not include a tour of our facilities. However, our speakers will endeavour provide a virtual tour through their presentations.
Due to the high demand for places we do not have seats available for parents/guardians in our lecture theatre.
There is no public parking available at onsite at VIFM and metered street parking is limited. Please consider public transport or one of the many privately operated car parking facilities around Southbank.
