INVITATION TO ATTEND
This regional meeting aims to bring together clinical and forensic scientists involved in the practice of analytical toxicology. The meeting will focus on traditional toxicology themes including clinical and post-mortem toxicology, analysis of alternative matrices, sports doping, workplace drug testing and drugs and driving. There will also be new emphasis on applications of rapid screening in clinical and forensic toxicology, new technologies in drug testing and presentations focusing on regional illicit drug patterns and consumption. There are international key note speakers planned for both of the main meeting days and in addition, 3 workshops are also planned. These workshops will be followed by a business meeting which will focus on establishing a regional society of toxicologists.

This Regional Australasian Forensic Toxicology meeting will be held at the RACV club in Melbourne, Victoria, AUSTRALIA.
Conveniently positioned in the heart of the Melbourne CBD at 501 Bourke Street, RACV Club features unique conferences and events facilities.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Participants are requested to indicate their choice of oral or poster presentations related to analytical toxicology on the Registration form, however the Program Committee reserve the right to make the final decision on the form of presentation.

REGISTRATION COSTS
Early bird registration is $550 AUD(inc GST) and due 14/08/2009. This will include 3 full days of proceedings and workshops as well as a ticket to a dinner on the second evening of the program. All breakfast, morning breaks, lunch and afternoon breaks will be included in the cost of registration.
Day registration is $225 AUD (inc GST) per day.

NOTE: the Forensic Pharmacology workshop held on Sunday 11/10/09 is at additional cost.
Seating is strictly limited as this will be held at VIFM.
OUR REGIONAL COLLEAGUES
The aim is to encourage and promote colleagues from around the region to attend this meeting. Attendees from this hemisphere are particularly welcome as are others wishing to participate.
